Disable autofill settings in Google Chrome
The autofill setting for documents in the Chrome browser is practical, but not always desirable. How to deactivate Autofill for the browser:
- In the Chrome browser, click the orange menu icon at the top right.
- Choose "Settings".
- Scroll down to "Passwords and forms".
- Remove the checkmark in front of "Activate AutoFill to fill out web forms with just one click" from the checkbox.
- Via the link "Manage autofill settings" you can also delete saved data for addresses and credit cards.
