Google Chrome: clear browser cache after each session - how it works
Especially if you are not the only user on a computer, you should have Chrome’s browser cache cleared after every session. We'll show you how it's done.
Clear Chrome cache after each session
- Click on the menu button in the top right of the browser. This is located below the close button and is marked with three dashes.
- Select the "Settings" below. These then open in a new tab.
- Scroll down a bit on the page until you reach the category "data protection".
- If you click here on the "Content Settings" button, a small window opens.
- At the top, under "Cookies", activate the second option "Delete local data after closing the browser" (see picture).
- The cache is now always cleared when the browser is closed.
