Google Chrome: Disable history
In Google Chrome, you have no way to disable the history. This practical tip shows you how you can prevent your surfing behavior from being recorded.
Chrome: Clear history and surf incognito
The Google Chrome browser does not offer an option to deactivate the creation of a history. All pages visited are displayed in the history. So your surfing behavior will no longer be visible to everyone in the future:
- First, delete the history in the Chrome browser. Now the pages visited in the past are no longer visible.
- In order to no longer receive any entries in the history in the future, you must surf in incognito mode.
- To do this, open the Chrome menu at the top right (three crossbars) and select "New incognito window".
