Google Chrome: Find and display downloads in the browser
If you want to cancel or restart the download, it is helpful to know which submenu of Google Chrome the downloaded data is in.
- To do this, first open the Chrome browser.
- You can find the Downloads folder by tapping the icon with the three vertical dots in the top right and selecting "Downloads".
- Alternatively, use the key combination [Ctrl] + [J] to display and find the downloads.
- If you are working on a Mac and use Google Chrome as a browser, the easiest way to find the files is via the "Settings" menu.
- Start Google Chrome and click on the three-dot menu in the top right corner.
- Now you see the point "Downloads". With another click on it, Chrome opens the page "chrome: // downloads" and shows you all the downloaded files sorted.
- On the Mac, you have another option for viewing the downloads. The trash can icon is usually on the far right of the dock. The downloads are to the left. Click here to see what you downloaded last.
