Google Chrome: class not registered - what does that mean?
If you get a "Class not registered" message in Google Chrome, the software is damaged. We'll show you how to solve the problem.
Google Chrome error message: "Class not registered"
The easiest and most effective way is to reinstall Chrome. You should back up your personal data beforehand.
- Download the free tool "GeekUninstaller" and start the program.
- Search for "Google Chrome" in the list and double-click on the entry.
- Now the normal uninstallation of Google Chrome starts. Follow the further instructions until the program has been removed.
- The GeekUninstaller then searches for all the remains of Google Chrome. Remove all finds here.
Install Google Chrome without errors
- Then download the latest version of Google Chrome and install the browser. The error should now be gone.
- If the error persists, you can replace Google Chrome with the portable version. Google Chrome Portable runs just as well, but doesn't require a fixed installation.
