You can restore the last session in Google Chrome with one click. Alternatively, you can set up the Google browser so that it automatically loads the last session each time it is started. You can find out how this works in this practical tip.
Restore last browser session in Chrome once
If your browser has crashed, Chrome will automatically ask you if you want to restore your previously opened tabs the next time you start it. In most cases, your previously opened pages are not lost.
Automatically resume Google Chrome from the last session
If you want to keep surfing exactly where you left off, Chrome has an extra feature for that. You only have to change one setting:
- Open Chrome and click the icon with the three horizontal bars in the upper right corner.
- In the menu that opens, click on "Settings". Alternatively, you can omit the first step and type "chrome: // settings /" in the address bar.
- You are now in the Chrome settings. Under the item "At start", select the option "Continue where I left off" (see screenshot).
