Remove Google Chrome without any residues
If you no longer want to use Google Chrome, you can remove the browser without leaving any residue.
Remove Google Chrome completely - Instructions
- First open the Control Panel on your computer.
- Click the "Uninstall a program" link below the "Programs" category.
- You will now see a list of all installed programs, sorted by alphabet. Look for the entry "Google Chrome" here.
- Select the entry with the mouse and click on the "Uninstall" button at the top.
- Then activate the "Delete browser data" option and click the "Uninstall" button again.
- Chrome is then completely removed from your system. If you don't trust the whole thing, you can search for and delete the remaining files under the path "C: \ Program Files (x86) \ Google".
