Google Chrome: Customize spell checking
Google Chrome has a spell checker that you can customize yourself. However, the option for this is very hidden, we'll show you.
Customize spell checking in Google Chrome
- Open the settings in Google Chrome: To do this, click on the button with the three dashes in the top right and then on "Settings".
- Now select "Show advanced settings".
- Scroll down until you see the "Language and input settings" button. Click on this button.
- Then go to "Custom Spell Checking Dictionary". The link is only visible when the spell checker is activated.
- You can edit your own dictionary in the new dialog. Words entered there are no longer underlined as incorrect.
