Chrome: Remove Yahoo as the default search engine
If you enter a search term in the address line of Google Chrome, it will automatically be searched for in the preset search engine. You can change these at any time:
- To do this, click on the menu icon with the three horizontal bars in the top right corner of Chrome and select "Settings".
- Under "Search" you can select another search engine - such as Google or Bing.
- To do this, go to the "Settings" of Google Chrome again via the menu button.
- Go to the menu item "Extensions" in the top left.
- Here you will find the Yahoo toolbar listed as an extension. Use the small trash can icon to remove them from the browser.
