Google Chromecast: Adjust streaming quality
With Google’s Chromecast, you can adjust the streaming quality at any time. We show you how it works.
Improve Chromecast streaming quality
If your video stalls and buffers frequently, lowering the streamed video quality can help. That's how it works:
- Click the Cast icon in the top right corner of Google Chrome.
- Now select the menu item "Settings" or "Options".
- Here you choose the standard with 480p, not the high quality of 720p. Your videos should now run smoother.
