With the Google Drive app, you always have access to Google Docs, your spreadsheets and presentations on your iPad. We introduce you to the use of the Google Cloud.
Use the Google Drive app on the iPad
With the free Google Drive iPad app, you can view and edit your files anywhere.
- Using the app, you can edit your Google Docs files, assign a new name, make files available for offline viewing, print using Cloud Print or AirPrint or switch between different Google Drive accounts.
- When documents are open, you also always have the latest changes in view. So you always know who made which change.
- In the menu item "My file" you will find an overview of all Google documents that you have created, synchronized and uploaded. In addition, the storage can be automatically synchronized with the Google Drive folder on the PC.
- The "Shared with me" view contains all files, folders, and Google documents that have been shared with you for viewing and editing. To synchronize them, move the desired file to "My file" on your PC.
- Under "Marked" you will find all documents that you previously marked with an asterisk as "Important". Note: If you mark documents with an asterisk in the app, they are also marked in the web application.
- To share, rename, remove, print, move, or make the document available offline, click the arrow to the right of the document's name.
- The app automatically saves and updates your actions every few minutes.
Tip: You can also use Google Docs on your smartphone.
