You can download images from your Google Drive account at any time and save them to your hard drive. We'll show you how it works.
Google Drive - how to download pictures
No special software is required to download images from your Google Drive user account. You can easily download via the web interface:
- Go to the Google Drive website in your web browser. You may now have to log in with your user name and password.
- Mark all the images you want to download in your clipboard. Hold down the [Ctrl] or [Shift] key to select multiple images.
- Then click on the menu icon at the top right, which shows three vertically arranged dots. Select the "Download" item.
- Google Drive now prepares the images and compresses them in a ZIP file. The download starts after a few seconds. Depending on the browser used, you may have to confirm the process and select a target directory.
- You can then unzip the ZIP file either using Windows Explorer or another suitable program such as 7-Zip or Bandizip.
