- Click on "Tools" at the top of Google Earth and select the "Start flight simulator" option.
- Now choose one of the two available planes. You can either start your flight in your current position or at a selected airport.
- If you then click the "Start" button, the flight simulator is activated.

- Press the [Page Up] key to increase the thrust. The thrust is reduced with the [Page Down] key.
- To start, press the [F] key until the start flaps are fully extended. You can retract the start flaps in the air with the key combination [Shift] + [F].
- After starting, you can also retract the undercarriage with the [G] key. You can extend it in the same way for a landing.
- Use the four arrow keys to control the elevator and ailerons to move the aircraft. If you hold down the [Shift] key, you can use the left and right arrow keys to control the rudder.
- If you hold down the [Ctrl] or [Alt] key, you can change the pilot's perspective using the arrow keys.
- The display is hidden with the [H] key. You can pause the flight simulator with the space bar.
