Google Earth doesn't show images - you can do that
In this article, we'll show you what you can do if Google Earth doesn't display any images. Incorrect cookies or incorrect browser settings can cause Google Earth to suddenly stop displaying images. But this can be changed with a little intervention.
How to activate the images in Google Earth
If you use the wrong browser settings or an old cookie is used, the image bar in Google Earth suddenly disappears. These steps bring them back.
- Go to Google Maps.
- At the bottom right you will find a small symbol with three pictures. This symbol is circled in red in the screenshot on the right.
- Click this icon to show the picture bar again.
- If you are looking for the satellite view, click the icon at the bottom left to switch between the views.
So the image bar no longer disappears
Mostly incorrectly set cookies are the reason why the picture bar disappears. In this case, you should delete your cookies so that Google can store new ones in your browser.
- Delete your chronicle in your browser. We will show you how to do this here.
- Be sure to select cookies when deleting, because these are usually the source of the error.
- Finished! The picture bar should now be displayed again permanently.
