Instructions: Connect the socket to Google Home
- First you have to set up the smart socket. For this you need the respective app from the manufacturer.
- Once you have set up the socket, you can connect the device to Google Home. To do this, open the Google Home app on your smartphone.
- Tap on the device icon in the top right and wait for the search.
- Select the socket and follow the instructions to connect the two systems.
- You can then give the socket a meaningful name. If you use several sockets, names such as "socket in the bathroom" or "socket in the bedroom" are suitable.
