Google Keep: restore notes - how it works
If you've accidentally deleted notes in Google Keep, you can restore them often. In the following practical tip, we will show you how this works.
Restore notes from Google Keep
If you delete a note in Google Keep, by default it ends up in the trash. Here's how to get your deleted records:
- Open Google Keep and click on the icon with the three horizontal lines on the left. In the app, swipe the side menu from left to right.
- Select the "Trash" entry. Here you will find all of your deleted notes.
- If you delete a note by mistake, you can undo this process a few seconds after the deletion. To do this, tap the pop-up menu at the bottom of the screen and select "Undo".
- Alternatively, notes can also be stored in the archive and called up again at any time.
- However, if you removed your notes from the trash and did not restore them immediately, you unfortunately cannot retrieve the data.
We will explain in another practical tip how you can search for text in images in Google Keep.
