- You can zoom in and out using the plus and minus buttons or the mouse wheel.
- When you have set the correct range, press the key combination Ctrl + P on your keyboard.
- Google Maps is now in print mode. Zoom in exactly where you want to print and move the section with the arrow keys at the top of the screen.
- Then press "Print" in the top right corner.
- Select the landscape format for a better cutout.
- When printing, you should note that you should only print out the first page, otherwise Google Maps will print out additional information.
Google Maps: Print routes
You can also print out a route that you have calculated with Google Maps.
- Enter the start and destination in the route planner and select the desired route by clicking on one of the displayed routes.
- Press [Ctrl] + [P] to enter the print mode.
- You can now either zoom out so that you can see the entire route on the map, or you can zoom in on a specific point.
- Then click on "Print" in the top right corner.
- Select the landscape format in the print settings and either print the map directly or save it as a PDF.
- The route description is automatically added by Google Maps and always describes the entire route, regardless of the section that you print.
