Google Maps: save routes - does that work?
Those who work a lot with Google Maps access the same routes more often. In our instructions, we show you where you save and call them up again.
Call up saved routes in Google Maps - how it works
Google Maps saves the locations and routes you are looking for when you are logged in with your Google account. How to find your routes again:
- Open Google Maps in the browser or on the smartphone and click on the icon to calculate a route.
- Tap the route icon in the app.
- In the upper area you will find your most recent search queries for a specific route or a special location and can calculate it again with a tap of your finger from your current location.
- If you scroll further down, all the locations from your history appear in chronological order, which you can also have recalculated.
- Google Maps also stores your search queries in the browser. The tool shows you your most recently searched locations even while you are starting a search.
- Visited bars and other institutions can also be rated via the menu item "My contributions".
