Use Google Now on your PC - how it works
You can also use the personal Android assistant Google Now on a PC. We'll show you what you need.
Use Google Now with Chrome on a PC
To activate Google Now on your computer, you need the beta version of the Google browser or "Chrome Canary". Test Google Now now:
- Install one of the two versions of Chrome and sign in with your Google account the first time you start.
- Enter the command "chrome: // flags / # enable-google-now" in the search bar and click on "Activate" under "Google Now".
- Then restart Chrome.
- You can now start Google Now using the bell symbol. In Windows you will find it in the task bar at the bottom right, under MacOS X in the top menu bar. Chrome automatically shows you the cards that you have activated on your smartphone.
The personal assistant is expected to appear in the next final version of Chrome. Until then, you can customize Google Now.
