How to create a reminder with Google Now
As soon as you have activated Google Now on your mobile device, you can immediately create reminders for appointments or tasks. To find out how to activate Google Now on an Android device, read the practical tip "Activate Google Now - Here's how". If you want to use Google Now on your iOS device, you can download the Google Now iOS app here.
- Open Google Now and tap the menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the left corner of the Google search box. This shows a page navigation.
- You will find "reminders" as the top entry in the page navigation. If you call up this menu item, an overview of all reminders that you have created is shown.
- To create a reminder, tap the "+" sign in the lower right corner. On the following screen, you can enter the title of your entry and determine the day, time and place at which you would like to be reminded of the appointment. Also determine whether the reminder should be activated once or permanently at a specific time.
- All information about the reminder is automatically synchronized with your Google calendar. In the Google Now page navigation under "Settings" you can configure the form in which you also want to be notified directly.
