Every smartphone user knows it: Apps take up tons of storage space. You can now remedy this with Google Play Instant. Read all about the function and how you can use the new service below.
- You can make full use of the app you want without taking up space on your smartphone. The content of the app is provided via a cloud.
- However, not all apps are compatible with Google Play Instant. The app manufacturers must first agree to this and adapt the program accordingly.
- Many providers have already done this and the forecasts show that in the future more and more apps will be compatible with Google Play Instant.
- To use the function, first open the settings on your smartphone or tablet. There, select the "Google" tab and then "Google Play Instant".
- After you have activated the "Open web links in instant apps" function (see Figure 1), you can search for compatible apps in the Play Store.
- You can recognize compatible apps by the fact that you will find the "TEST NOW" function to the left of the "INSTALL" selection (see Figure 2).
