Google Play Music: create playlist - how it works
Creating a playlist in Google Play Music is actually pretty easy. With our instructions, it works in just a few steps.
Create a playlist in Google Play Music
- If you don't have any playlists in your list yet or want to create a new playlist, first select a song, artist, or album.
- Tap the overflow menu (three small dots) in the corresponding tile and select "Add to playlist".
- In the next step you can add your songs or the album to the existing playlists. If you want to create a new playlist, tap on "New playlist" at the top.
- Then enter a name and optionally a description. You can also make your playlist public via this window and share it via various services from the app.
- Finally, tap "Create playlist". The saved playlist can be found via the side menu on the left.
You can also listen to songs and playlists from the Google Play Music app offline on the go. We will explain how this works in another practical tip.
