Google Play Store: Fix Error 20 - Here's how
If error 20 occurs in the Google Play Store, you can no longer download app updates. We'll show you how to solve the problem yourself.
Fix error 20 in the Google Play store
- First open the "Settings" app on your Android smartphone.
- Select the "Application Manager" or the category "Apps" here.
- Now search for the entry "Google Play Store".
- Tap here on the buttons "Clear data" and "Clear cache".
- Restart the Play Store and try downloading an app.
- If the error 20 persists, return to the settings and tap the "Force stop" and "Uninstall updates" buttons.
- If you restart the Google Play Store again, error 20 should no longer occur.
