The error message 921 can have several causes. In the first step, we present three somewhat simpler solutions. If the problem persists after that, follow step 2 to fix the problem permanently.
- Call up the "Settings" on your android and navigate to the "Application Manager" via the "Options" tab.
- Swipe left in the application manager until the "ALL" tab is selected.
- Find and tap the "Google Play Store" entry in the list.
- Then tap on "Clear cache" and also on "Clear data".
- Now try to download the app again. If it works, you've already fixed the problem. Otherwise, repeat steps 1 to 3 and follow the next point.
- Tap "Uninstall updates" and confirm with "OK".

Step 2: Deleting and re-establishing your Google account permanently fixes error 921
- Go to "Settings" again and tap on the "Accounts" tab.
- Select the "Google" account here.
- Now tap on your email address below the item "Accounts".
- Delete your existing Google account by clicking on "Delete account" in the lower right corner. tap (see picture). This does not delete your existing data on your smartphone or tablet.
- Now navigate back to the account overview and create a Google account again using the "Add account" entry. Enter your Google mail address and your password and confirm with "OK".
- Go to the Play Store and download the app you want again. You will see: it works.
