Attach GoPro - that's how it works
There are many ways to attach your GoPro action camera. Here we show you a few ways to protect your favorite camera from the hard impact on the floor.
General attachments for the GoPro camera
There are many different mounts in the official GoPro store. Some selected examples:
- With the Gooseneck bracket you can adjust any angle. The only requirement for this extension: a bracket.
- The official headband can be attached to your head as normal or to a helmet. This is how pictures are taken in first-person perspective.
- The GoPro rod holder is suitable for pipes, rods or similar objects.
Attach GoPro to the helmet
A GoPro is a nice toy, especially for skiers or mountain bikers. You film the fast-paced descents with you. With these attachments, the camera sits securely on the helmet.
- Take the GoPro adhesive set and attach your action cam. Please note that the pads need as much contact area as possible so that they hold well.
- The GoPro belt holder can be easily attached to helmets with louvers.
Alternative mounting options for the action cam
Unfortunately, the official extensions are a bit expensive and can quickly make the camera several euros more expensive. If you only want to attach your camera somewhere once or if you don't have any of these helpers at hand, then these resources will also help you.
- Take two cable ties and use them to attach your camera to pipes, pillars or similar objects. But please note: Without scissors or knives, the camera stays there a little longer.
- An equally good solution is tape or armored tape. Simply attach the camera to the desired position with a few layers of the adhesive roll and you will get great pictures.
- For jerky journeys, you should rely on professional equipment to protect your GoPro well.
