GoPro flashes blue - what to do?
In this brief practical tip, we will show you what you can do if your GoPro camera flashes blue.
You can do that when your GoPro flashes blue
- If your GoPro is blinking blue, it's a sign that Wi-Fi is activated.
- With activated Wi-Fi, you can fully control your GoPro via Wi-Fi remote or via the free GoPro app with your smartphone / tablet.
- For Wi-Fi connectivity on your HD Hero or HD Hero2, you need a Wi-Fi BacPac. You can easily attach this BacPac to the back of your action cam.
How to enable Wi-Fi
There are two ways to turn your GoPro's Wi-Fi on and off.
- With a built-in button with the wireless symbol on the camera side (see picture), the Wi-Fi can be activated quickly and directly.
- You can also activate the Wi-Fi of your GoPro under the "Wireless Controls" option in the GoPro menu. Here you can set the Wi-Fi specifically for the GoPro app or the Wi-Fi Remote.
You can find further helpful settings for your GoPro in the operating instructions for Hero3 or Hero2.
