You can easily connect your GoPro to the Mac. There are several ways to transfer photos and video recordings from your GoPro to Mac.

Connecting the GoPro to your Mac is not rocket science.
- Turn on both devices. Now connect the GoPro to your Mac via USB. You don't need to do more, because the Mac automatically recognizes your GoPro.
- Alternatively, you can remove the Mini SD from your GoPro and insert it into the corresponding slot on your Mac using an adapter
Transfer files from GoPro to Mac
Connecting the GoPro is a breeze. Transferring the files to your Mac is also not difficult.
- The tool "Quik" is very helpful, which you may know by the former name "GoPro Desktop" or "GoPro Studio". You can download the program free of charge from our download portal. Start the program so you can access your GoPro directly.
- You can also access your GoPro files without any additional software. To do this, open the Finder on your Mac. Your GoPro should be displayed on the left side under "Devices". Click on it and navigate to the “DCIM” folder. Here you should find further subfolders in which you can call up pictures and video recordings of your GoPro.
