In order to display the game graphically, you need the latest driver for your graphics card.
- You can download it using Windows Update or on the manufacturer's website.
- In addition, the latest version of Microsoft DirectX is required.
- Make sure your PC meets the system requirements for Grid 2 before starting the game.
- In many cases it helps if you start the game as admin. To do this, you first have to right-click on the game's start icon and select "Run as administrator".
- In Steam, the game data can be checked for errors. To do this, right-click on the game in Steam and select "Properties". Finally, under "Local files" you can have the "Check game files for errors".
- Go to the "Documents"> "My Games"> "GRID 2"> "hardwaresettings" folder and open the "hardware_settings_config.xml" file with the editor. Change the value for "graphics_card firstBoot" and "directx forcedx10" to "false". Then save the document.
