Grid Autosport: Tips for more experience points
With certain settings, you get some XP bonuses without having to do much more. This way you can quickly level up:
- Grid Autosport offers the right AI strength for every player with five levels of difficulty. The level of difficulty changes not only the AI strength, but also the number of XP you receive for races in career mode.
- The following levels of difficulty bring the corresponding XP bonuses: Amateur: 0% bonus, Easy: 8% bonus, Normal: 28% bonus, Difficult: 32% bonus, Professional: 46% bonus.
- Even if you switch gears manually, you get an XP bonus of five percent.
- You can also set the number of flashbacks. There are the following bonuses. 0: 5 percent bonus, 1: 4 percent bonus, 2: 3 percent bonus, 3: 4 percent bonus, 4: 1 percent bonus, 5: 0 percent bonus, Unlimited: -10 percent deduction.
- Depending on the level of difficulty, you will also receive Bonus XP for the damage setting. From "Normal" difficulty, the damage is automatically "Complete". Lowering it manually will give you less XP.
Tips for racing in grid autosport
- Always keep an eye on the ideal line. This shows the best position for your car and helps you to brake at the right moment.
- You can only deactivate it in the settings if you do not need the ideal line. There is a small XP bonus of two percent for this.
- It is best to drive with activated "traction control". You lose two percent of your XP, but the car no longer breaks out when accelerating.
- The "stability control" and "steering and cornering aid" should, however, only be switched on if you have never played such a game before. Both settings reduce your XP by two percent each and bring little benefits in the race.
- For this you should definitely activate the ABS. This helps you when braking on a curve. When ABS is activated, your car does not turn around and does not break out. So you can drive into the curve almost without brakes, which gives you valuable seconds.
- Also always try to stay on the track. In Grid Autosport in particular, a trip to the gravel bed is not forgiven: the car turns easily and you can hardly accelerate. So you'd better drive a little slower through the curve. In an emergency, you should use a flashback.
