Find grizzly bears in Far Cry 5
In Far Cry 5 you need three intact grizzly skins to complete the Clinical Study Quest. We show you where to find the animals.
Far Cry 5: Find grizzly bears
Far Cry 5 features a total of six grizzlys. The animals are quite rare and not so easy to find.
- There are two grizzly hunting areas in Holland County. One is west of the crop circles across the street. The other can be found south-southwest of the crop circles near Deadmans River.
- Four other grizzlys are in the Whitetail Mountains. If you are lucky, you will encounter one of the bears north of the Jefferson Lookout Tower. Another is west of the North Park Entrance. The other two have their areas west-northwest over Lake Cooper Cabin and east of the Haskell Lookout Tower.
Far Cry 5: tips for bear hunting
Bears are dangerous predators not only in real life, but also in Far Cry 5.
- It is therefore advisable to take the animal companion Boomer with you on the bear hunt. He spots the predators in time before a grizzly is right in front of you.
- Since you need the skins intact, you have to do without explosives or similar destructive weapons. Therefore, you should equip yourself with the most powerful rifle you have. The MBP 50 or the SA-50 sniper rifle are well suited for bear hunting.
- Shoot the grizzly until it hits the ground, best aimed at the head.
- Once you have shot the grizzly, you can pull off the fur.
