Send large packages - there are these providers

If you want to send large packages, several providers offer your service. Not only the well-known parcel services, but also special companies transport large parcels and goods.

DHL: Send large packages

• On the DHL website, you can use the postage calculator to set how heavy and how big your package is.
• The packages may weigh a maximum of 100 kg and be 600 x 230 x 200 cm in size.
• If you want to send large items such as a bicycle, a washing machine or car tires, you can choose a fixed price.

Hermes: Send large packages

• You can only send parcels within Germany and Europe via Hermes. The longest and shortest side together can be a maximum of 310 cm long.
• The price for the largest package class is currently around 33 euros, including pick-up at your own front door.

DPD: Send large packages

• With DPD you can send parcels with a maximum length of 175 cm and a maximum weight of 31.5 kg.
• The belt size (length + 2x width + 2x height = max. 300 cm) must also be observed.

GLS: Send large packages

• The weight of the packages at GLS is limited to 40 kg. The advantage: Even the smallest and cheapest package class can also weigh 40 kg.
• The belt size may be a maximum of 3 meters long. This is calculated as follows: the size of the package plus the longest side. In addition, the package must not be longer than 2 m, higher than 60 cm and higher than 80 cm.

Cargo International: Send large goods

• Cargo International not only transports parcels that are too large for the usual transport companies, but also small parcels.
• There are fixed prices for packages as well as for special goods such as euro pallets, surfboards and motorcycles.

iLoxx.de: Send large goods

• The shipping service iLoxx really transports everything to every place. Not only normal parcel shipments are offered, but also special transports, as well as air and sea transports.
• You can either deliver the parcels to DPD parcel shops or have them picked up at home.
