- First, take a look at the system requirements for GTA 5. Make sure that your PC fulfills them.

- You can use Windows Update to check whether an update is available for your system.
- The Rockstar Social Club must also be up to date. Download and install the latest version.
- If you bought GTA 5 on Steam, you can easily check the game files for errors. To do this, right-click on GTA 5 in your library and select "Properties". Go to the "Local files" tab and click on "Check game files for errors". Wait for the process to finish.
