Don't throw cucumber water away: it's so helpful in the kitchen
If the jar of pickles is empty, a lot of cucumber water remains. Do not throw it away, it can be used in the kitchen. The water from fresh cucumbers is used in the main care.

The spicy brew of pickled cucumbers finds other uses in the household. You should therefore not tip it down the drain.
- Continue using the cucumber water to pickle your own vegetables. For example, try raw zucchini slices, garlic, green beans or a sliced cucumber. This creates a fresh, crisp salad in no time at all.
- Cucumber water is suitable for seasoning dishes. As an addition to the pasta salad or ingredient for the potato salad, the cucumber water gives dishes a sweet and sour aroma.
- Extinguish the roast with cucumber water. Sauces, such as for natural pork, beef or chicken schnitzel, taste even better.
- Cucumber water consists of vinegar, water, sugar and many spices, such as pepper or dille. Take a sip of cucumber water every now and then. Your body receives valuable nutrients.
Cucumbers are suitable for skin care
When you cut, peel or grate cucumbers, a lot of water is produced. You can use that great for face care.
- Fresh cucumber water is ideal for treating enlarged pores on the face. The ingredients in the vegetables stimulate blood circulation and contract the pores.
- For a refreshing cucumber facial water, pour the juice into a screw-top jar and store it in the refrigerator.
- Apply the cucumber water to the skin in the morning after cleaning your face with a cotton pad.
- With a few drops of lemon juice or apple cider vinegar, the cucumber water is also antibacterial and protects the skin from germs.
