Insert check mark in OpenOffice - how it works
This practical tip shows you how to insert a tick in a text document at OpenOffice.
Insert a check mark as a special character in OpenOffice
- To insert a check mark as a special character in the flowing text, go to "Insert" at the top of OpenOffice Writer and then to "Special Character".
- Set the font to "Wingdings" and scroll down to the bottom. Here you will find a tick symbol.
- Click on this once and then press "OK" to insert the symbol.
Use the check mark as a symbol for bullets.
- Alternatively, you can also use ticks as bullet symbols.
- To do this, click on the small arrow next to the "Bulleted list" button in the menu bar (see screenshot) and select the tick symbol.
