H&M: Cancel your order - how it works
You can easily cancel your order from the H&M online shop. However, you have to take some details into account so that the cancellation can proceed without any problems.
Cancel or revoke an order from H&M
- You can cancel your order before the online shop has dispatched it.
- The easiest and fastest way is to an email to
- If the goods are in your customer account in the overview under "Items not yet delivered", you can change the number to 0 and confirm with "Apply". You have now canceled the respective article.
- If the goods have already been shipped, you have a statutory 14-day right of return. The period starts from the moment you accept the delivery.
- You do not need to give reasons for the cancellation of the order, but the goods must be in an undamaged and unused condition.
- If you have informed H&M in good time of the cancellation of the order, the online shop will grant you another 14 days from this time for the return of the goods.
- Tip: Make sure that you receive a confirmation from H&M relatively soon that you have received your revocation.
The return of the canceled order
Whether you or the dealer will bear the cost of returning the goods depends on the goodwill of the company. In principle, the online shops are no longer obliged to bear the return shipping costs.
- At H&M, the online shop pays the shipping costs for the return if you return the order in full.
- If you only want to cancel part of the order, you have to bear the postage costs.
- The shipping costs can be avoided with a little trick: simply return the canceled items to an H&M branch.
