Revoke your mobile phone subscription - that's how you do it right
If you have accidentally taken out a subscription via your cell phone, you should cancel the contract immediately. We'll show you how to do it now.
Cancel subscription trap for mobile phone
- If you have entered your mobile phone number on the Internet and receive an increased telephone bill days later, you are not alone. Rip-off services earn millions with such subscription traps.
- Such subscriptions are usually listed on the mobile phone bill as "third-party services" or "value-added services". The companies Carmunity, Guerilla Mobile and ZED are extremely well known in this field.
- In many cases, your good faith on the Internet is exploited. The cell phone number is often required to activate a special service, a subscription is only mentioned in the small print.

- First write to your mobile operator: contradict the item on the invoice, ask for the money back and deny that you have completed the subscription. Also ask for the exact contact details of the company that charged you for the subscription.
- You should also contact the subscription service in writing. Deny the conclusion of the contract, claim your money back and have proof of the alleged conclusion of the contract sent to you. In the alternative, cancel the subscription so that it at least stops working from now on.
- Note: Conduct all conversations in writing by post or fax. It is difficult to prove calls later. If the matter is particularly important to you, you should at least send the first letters as registered letters with a return receipt.
