Mobile phone no longer receives MMS: possible causes
MMS were very popular even before WhatsApp & Co. and are still sent by some users today. If there are no more MMS messages on your cell phone, this may be due to the following reasons, among others.
- If necessary, the MMS function must first be activated on your cell phone. Depending on the model, go to "SMS / MMS" in the settings.
- You can request the configuration data from the provider by SMS, among other things. To do this, send the respective request to the following providers (T-Mobile: "handytyp.modell # mms" to speed dial 2330; Vodafone: "Handytyp MMS" to speed dial 2255; O2: SMS with empty content to speed dial 80100).
- You can also log on to your mobile operator's website and carry out the configuration there.
- With a smartphone, you should make sure that you have activated the MMS function in the settings and whether other services such as e.g. For example, apps access the MMS function.
- Also check whether the image file to be sent may be too large. If you have a smartphone, you can crop and reduce the image file with a photo editing app such as PicsArt - Photo Studio.
