Make a cell phone pocket from a sock yourself - how it works
If you want to protect your cell phone from the dangers of everyday life, you can buy ready-made cell phone cases or make a case out of a sock yourself. We'll show you how it's done.
DIY: Make a cell phone case out of a sock
All you need for the phone case is a long sock. To get the sock in shape, scissors, needle and thread are helpful.
- Place your phone on the top of the sock. There should be at least an inch of space upwards.
- Mark or note the bottom line of the cell phone on the sock and cut the sock off at this point.
- Turn the sock to the left so that the seam that is created later lies on the inside.
- Now you can sew the cut end with a needle and thread. If you have never sewed, this is not a problem. In that case, you can't really go wrong.
- If you turn the sock over again, the unsightly seam is inside the sock. The cell phone case is now ready.
- Tip: You can use the second sock to make a second cell phone case as a gift.
