Use hashtags in Facebook - how it works
With the hashtags known from Twitter, you can also assign keywords to your Facebook posts. If you click on a hashtag, Facebook will direct you to posts with the same keyword. This should increase the reach of your posts.
Set hashtags in Facebook posts
Precede an important keyword with the pound sign (#).
- Facebook then converts the word to a clickable hashtag.
- You can set as many hashtags per post. As soon as you enter a space, the keyword is completed as a hashtag.
- Numbers are not a problem with the hashtag, but you cannot use special characters or punctuation marks.
- Famous examples of hashtags are #Facebook, #Christmas or #GuteMusik.
Find Facebook hashtags on topics
Anyone reading an interesting post with hashtag can learn more about it:
- Click the hashtag.
- You will now land on a collection of all posts in which the selected hashtag has been set. Of course, you will only see the posts that have been shared publicly or with you.
- Alternatively, you can also enter a diamond with a keyword in the search bar, e.g. B. #CHIP.
- Below the hashtag, Facebook suggests similar keywords that you can use to find out more about the topic.
