Activate HD + card: how it works
If you would like to put your HD + card into operation or extend it after one year, you must activate the card for the respective campaign. We'll show you how it's done.
Activate HD + card for the first time
- The first activation of the HD + card is done quickly. Simply insert the card into the CI slot provided on the receiving device (TV).
- Make sure that the gold chip is facing up. Otherwise the card cannot be read by the hardware.
- If you switch on the receiving device, the rest happens automatically. You can now receive TV channels in HD.
Activate the extension of the HD + card
The card expires after 12 months and must be renewed. Otherwise it is no longer possible to receive channels in HD. 14 days before the card expires, you will be warned of this by instructions on the television. So that you don't have to buy a new card, you can extend your HD + card for a little cheaper 50 euros.
- Pull the HD + card out of your receiving device and write down the 12-digit HD + card number. You can find them below the barcode. Then reinsert the card into the receiving device.
- You can enter the card number in the web shop and pay for the extension.
- Alternatively, you can also call customer service on 0800 3000 222 and pay for the extension by phone.
- After just a few minutes, your card will be extended for 12 months and the notifications will no longer appear on your TV.
