Hearthstone: The Priest Guide
This guide will show you how to properly play the priest class in Hearthstone. We not only give you tips on important cards, but also on how the priest plays. The cards presented here are basic cards and therefore easy to obtain.
The priest in Hearthstone: As many cards as possible
Since the priest has no strong attack or defense minions, you should always have enough of your other cards in hand. So you can react to the opponent. You wait and try to counter the opponent like this. The "Cleric of Nordhain" or the "Engineer Apprentice" will help you with this. In order to build a certain defense anyway, you should have "Schildmeista von Sen'jin" and "Eisenpelzgrizzly" in your deck. With the priest's heroic ability, you heal yourself or allied servants for 2 life. Your mock servants are well protected and can hardly be defeated. You should therefore have the following cards in hand for many cards and a solid defense in the deck:
- "Cleric of North Grove" (1/3): "Draws a card every time a servant is healed."
- "Engineer Apprentice" (1/2): "Battle Cry: Draw a card."
- "Schildmeista von Sen'jin" (3/5): "ridicule"
- "Eisenpelzgrizzly" (3/3): "ridicule"
Wear down the enemy with magic
The priest's goal: to respond to the enemy. With the cards presented so far, you have a solid defense and should have enough cards in your hand. To do damage to your opponent, you should have some spell cards in your deck. "Power Word: Death", "Holy Pain", "Mind Control" and "Holy Nova" are particularly suitable for this. These cards can also be used to knock out strong enemy enemies. "Holy Nova" not only harms the enemy, but also heals its own servants. “Power Word: Shield” also heals a servant. The following magic cards should not be missing from your deck:
- "Power Word: Death": "Destroy a servant with at least 5 attacks."
- "Holy Pain": "Deals 2 damage."
- "Mind Control": "Take control of an enemy servant."
- "Holy Nova": "Inflicts 2 damage to all enemies. Restores 2 lives to all friendly characters."
- "Power Word: Shield": "Gives +2 life to a servant. Draws a card."
Of course, you can also equip the priest with even more mock servants. This guide is intended to serve as your guide, and your future priest decks should be based on the cards presented here. Why don't you even try the shaman class?
