Delete homegroup
Home network groups that you no longer need can be deleted under Windows 7 via the Control Panel. To do this, however, all connected computers must first leave the group.
Delete computers from homegroups
- At the bottom left of the screen, click "Start", the Windows icon.
- Then select "Control Panel" in the start menu on the right.
- A window opens in which you click on "Network and Internet" and then on "Home Network".
- Now scroll down and select the blue marked item "Leave home network group" (see picture).
- You will be asked whether you really want to leave the group. There you click again on "Leave homegroup" and then on "Finish".
- If you perform this step on all connected devices, the home network group is deleted.
