Heroes of the Storm: Lost Vikings Guide and Tips
In this article we show you a guide with tips on the Lost Vikings from Heroes of the Storm.
Heroes of the Storm: These are the Lost Vikings
The Lost Vikings have a passive ability that gives you permanent life regeneration. All you have to do is collect the healing balls and stack the effect. You can either control all three Vikings at the same time, or each one individually. You should note that every Viking has different characteristics.
- In a way, Olaf is the tank of the Lost Vikings. He has an increased life regeneration and can stun opponents with a rush that is triggered passively.
- Baleog has an AOE attack that also does damage to the enemies behind the targeted target.
- Erik is the nimble and fastest of the Lost Vikings. He attacks with a slingshot and has a long range. However, he is very weak against tanks alone.
- You should note that the Lost Vikings have no skills from the start. These are only added when you level them via the talent points and thus bring them to your action bar. As a game beginner, we therefore advise against the Lost Vikings.
How to play the Lost Vikings
- Especially on the map with the grave golem and the mines, it is extremely important to split up the Lost Vikings.
- While supporting your team in the mines with two Vikings, you should stay upstairs with a Viking and gain experience for your team. Most of the opponents will all go into the mines together, so you almost always have free travel upstairs and can kill servants and tear down towers.
- You must play on other cards depending on the situation.
- You should always consider whether it makes sense to separate the Lost Vikings at the beginning.
- If you can get an experience advantage with a Viking, you should always do that. Sometimes premature level 10 with the corresponding ultimate skills can deliver the decisive advantage in teamfight.
- It can be very helpful to switch between the currently selected character with the space bar. This is how you quickly get an overview.
- As with any character, of course, stick to the map's goals rather than trying to get lots of kills. In the end, the team that has decided the map targets wins.
- As skills you can choose "The right turn" at level 7 and "Air jump" at level 13. After all, you have an active ability on the Q and W keys that you definitely need with the Lost Vikings.
