Intercessions for the wedding may only be known to many from the Catholic Church. They are also read or recited by other Christian denominations at the time of the marriage. We have put together a few suggestions and examples for you.
Intercession for the wedding - a few fine examples
The content of an intercession does not always have to be of a Christian nature - feel free to organize an intercession. Also, the bride and groom need not be the focus. You can also ask for family, friends or children.
- "We sincerely ask that the marriage of the spouses [name of the bride] and [name of the groom] will be a marriage full of love, happiness and always trust."
- "Lord, take care of this young couple [name of the bride] and [name of the groom], take away the worries and fears that a marriage brings and let them experience your love and magnanimity".
- "We ask you, Lord and God, to accompany the path of the couple [name of the bride] and [name of the groom] and be your blessing on both".
- "Lord God, you who watch over everything, we ask you: Let the beautiful, the happy and bright hours of marriage [name of the bride] and [name of the groom] outweigh the dark hours".
- "A love relationship is like a beautiful sensitive flower. It needs constant care. Give [the name of the bride] and [name of the groom] the strength to take care of their love every day and never let them forget the feeling that both of them have today Feeling days for each other ".
- "Good God, we sincerely ask that [name of the bride] and [name of the groom] be able to make each other's strengths strong, and that they don't see each other's weaknesses as such."
- "We sincerely ask that [name of the bride] and [name of the groom] always be able to treat each other with respect, understanding and patience for each other."
- "Lord, we think of the people who can no longer be with us today, let our memories of them be full of love and peace, because only in this way can they continue to be with us"
