Honor 10 Lite: How to use the selfie features

The 24-megapixel front camera alone should make the hearts of one or two selfie fans beat faster. However, that's not all the Honor 10 Lite can do when it comes to self-portrait.

• Those who like to stage themselves artistically will enjoy the different lighting settings. You can find this when you activate the portrait mode of the camera (the various camera modes are shown at the bottom of the screen) and tap the lighting icon in the selection that appears above. This is in the middle, just above the word portrait.
• Now a separate selection menu opens, in which you can choose between the available lighting situations. There are five in total: No lighting, "Butterfly Lighting", "Soft Lighting", "Split Lighting" and "Stage Lighting".
• Another feature that will help you is AI Beautification. The corresponding icon can be found in the lower right corner, directly above the selection of the camera modes. If you tap it, you can set a degree of embellishment from one to ten on a scale.
• If you take a selfie now, the camera will automatically optimize the picture taken. For example, removing blemishes or dark circles.
• You can influence the calculations of the beautification algorithm by specifying your gender, your skin tone and your age.
• And if you have two left hands when it comes to selfies or want to make it easy for yourself, you can use the Honor's AI function. You activate this via the "AI" icon in the middle of the bar at the top of the screen.
