For Honor: Tips on the Viking, Samurai and Knight factions
There are different factions and classes in For Honor that you can compete for. We give tips for fighting as a knight, viking or samurai.
For Honor: Tips for prospective knights
The faction of knights is divided into four sub-classes, which are aimed at different levels of experience.
- At the beginning, select the entry-level knight "Guardian". He endures a lot and is pretty fast at the same time.
- The conqueror is the tank among the knights. He is of the "Heavy" type and is well protected against attack with his shield. Its morning star causes great damage within a limited range.
- At the same time, the conqueror is also the slowest of all knights. It is therefore of medium difficulty and is aimed at players with some gaming experience.
- The peace keeper is an assassin and therefore cannot take much. In addition, it does not distribute well at first glance. As a "peacemaker" you have to rely on your speed and combo chains.
- Your secret weapon is the poison blade. Attack opponents from behind and play for time.
- The most difficult knight class is that of the law enforcement officer: he is a powerful hybrid class and keeps enemies at a distance with his large stick ax. At the same time, his strong armor can withstand some counterattacks.
- With the law enforcer you can counter enemy attacks particularly well and stun them. However, you should plan a long familiarization phase.
For Honor: Tips for Viking Group Members
If you prefer the game as a Viking, you also have four subclasses available.
- The Raider: The beginner of the Vikings is the Raider. Like the law enforcer, the knight has a stick ax and is therefore strong at a distance. At the same time, however, he is also very slow and therefore susceptible to quick counterattacks.
- His hits not only cause great damage, but also stun the opponent for a short time.
- The warlord is the tank and thus the counterpart to the conqueror. It is slow and strong and is therefore suitable for counter attacks.
- It does not have a long range, but it does have strong abilities: For example, you can inflict damage on opponents even though they are blocking.
- The Valkyrie is the hybrid class of the Vikings and has a spear for good long-range combat. A shield can effectively block enemy attacks at the same time.
- Overall, it is a good all-rounder and allows you to destroy your opponents, especially with combos.
- The Berserker is the Assassin, but of all fighters in this class he is the largest and heaviest. It is also the most difficult class to learn about the Vikings, because they cause damage primarily with combos and features.
- With the features you can bleed enemies, increase your own attributes in rage and lower the opposing ones.
For Honor: Tips for fighting in the samurai faction
The samurai faction is the faction with the fastest fighters, but also the hardest to learn.
- The Shugoki is the tank of the samurai and is the easiest to learn. Like the other tanks, it can take and distribute a lot and is therefore slow.
- With the Shugoki's heavy Kanabo club, you can do great damage, especially in groups.
- A bit more advanced players can use the Kensei, which is the first samurai of the faction, but is not as easy to control as his colleague, the Shugoki.
- Distribute precisely with the classic katana, but pay attention to the limited mobility.
- The Orochi is the one-handed assassin of the samurai and needs some getting used to. His attacks are particularly quick, but the Orochi doesn't take much for that.
- Of all classes, the Orochi is the most effective in avoiding roles. Dodge can also boost your own attributes and restore health.
- The Nobushi is the hybrid class and also quite difficult to learn. With him you have the maximum range, his lance is the longest weapon in For Honor. He is also a good team player because you can revive teammates faster with the Nobushi.
