Remove cornea: 3 home remedies for beautiful feet
If you regularly remove unsightly calluses, your feet will look just as well cared for in summer sandals. We have three home remedies for tender feet - not just in summer.
Use your mouthwash to remove calluses on your feet
- Mouthwash not only provides fresh breath, but also removes the unsightly cornea on the feet.
- To remove calluses, bathe your feet in a comfortable foot bath. This should consist of water, vinegar and mouthwash in equal parts.
- If you put your feet in this foot bath for about a quarter of an hour, the cornea can then simply be rubbed off with a towel.
- By the way, you can make mouthwash yourself. We'll show you how in another article.
Natural peeling removes calluses and makes your feet soft
- After a relaxing foot bath, a homemade peeling removes the unsightly horny layers with ease.
- Mix a little shower gel or liquid soap with a few drops of pure essential oil and two tablespoons of baking soda to form a paste.
- If you rub your just bathed feet vigorously with the paste on the horny areas, the skin becomes very tender. Then shower your feet as normal.
Lemon is not only good for health, but also against calluses on the feet
- Lemon juice dissolves cornea thoroughly. Place your feet ankle-deep in a bowl of warm water and add 100 milliliters of lemon juice.
- It takes about 20 minutes for the cornea to soften and be easily removed with a pumice stone.
- Tip: Thick corneas loosen more easily if you put lemon slices on top. If the acidity of the lemon is too aggressive for you, 100% aloe vera juice serves the same purpose. You can do this yourself with our instructions.
- The citrus fruit is of course not only suitable for personal hygiene. You should drink lemon juice regularly in the morning: You will find out in a further article how positive this is for your body.
