Hotmail: Create a vacation note

If you cannot be reached for a long time, you can create an automatic vacation notice in Hotmail. We show you how this works in this guide.

Hotmail: Create a vacation note

1. Open the Hotmail website and log in with your access data.
2. Click the gear icon at the top right of the window and select the options there.
3. Under the category "Manage Account" you will now find the option "Send automated leave notes".
4. Activate the item "Send vacation notes to people from whom I receive emails" and enter your note.
5. Optionally, activate the item "Send vacation notice only to my contacts".
6. The vacation notice is set up using the "Save" button.
