HP: change printer cartridges - how it works
If the print cartridges from your HP printer are empty, you must change the cartridges before printing again. We will show you how the exchange works.
HP: Change ink cartridges from the inkjet printer
Note: Every printer is built differently, including HP. The basic procedure is similar, however, so that there should hardly be any deviations.
- Turn on the printer and find access to the cartridges. To do this, open the upper part of the printer or a small flap on the front.
- Now wait until the cartridges have moved into the correct position. This is always marked. The intervention is only safe when the cartridges are in this position for several seconds.
- Now you can detach the old cartridges using the click mechanism and dispose of them carefully. Be careful not to get the paint on your hands or on your clothes.
- You can then insert the new cartridges. The small chip on the cartridges is usually still covered with a film, which you have to remove. When all the cartridges are in place, close the printer. The cartridges are now tested and are then ready for use.
HP: Change printer cartridges from the laser printer
- First open the printer. The procedure is usually relatively simple, but the button or the handle are in different places.
- Once you have found the toner cartridge, you can simply pull it out. A complicated mechanism is usually not installed.
- Unpack and install the new toner. Close the door and turn on the printer. You can then print again.
- Tap: Insert the old toner directly into the packaging of the new toner. This prevents the paint from running out and causing annoying stains.
