HTC is no longer a concern - it may be because of it
What to do if HTC suddenly stops working? You can find possible causes and solutions to the problem in this practical tip.
You can do that when HTC no longer turns on
There are several possible causes for this problem. Below you will find possible causes and the appropriate solution:
- The battery may be deeply discharged. Therefore, connect your smartphone to a power source and wait a few minutes before trying to turn it on.
- If possible, replace the battery. This is very easy with older HTC models. The battery may be defective.
- A defective charging cable can also be the reason why your cell phone does not start. The cell phone is not (adequately) charged and therefore does not come on. Therefore replace the cable.
- You can also try to keep the power button pressed for a long time, about 20-30 seconds. HTC may then start.
- Press and hold the power and volume down buttons for a few seconds. The HTC will now perform a hard reset. However, this deletes all data on the smartphone.
- Connect your smartphone to the PC. If this is not displayed on the PC, this indicates a serious problem.
- If these tips do not help, there is only the way to repair in the end. To do this, contact the shop where you bought the HTC.
We will show you how to extend the battery life of HTC One in the next practical tip.
